Hands-On Apiary Events


The SEBC hosts monthly* apiary educational events to support shared learning and experience for our members. Join us to get hands on experience with various hive management practices and techniques or share your techniques and experience with others.


Have a desire to learn something specific? Contact our club Secretary or the Apiary Managers to get it on the agenda during an apiary event.


*Apiary events are hosted during late spring, summer and fall. No events are scheduled during the late fall, winter or early spring.




Member Equipment Lending


The SEBC maintains equipment that members can sign out to support their beekeeping activities. We have a variety of bee jackets and suits, an oxalic acid vaporizer with battery and charger, and honey extractors.




SEBC Library


We have a robust and diverse library of books members can check out. Categories include basic beekeeping, monetizing beekeeping, history, biographies, and more. We also have several digital media options.

Sign up to catch your own swarm!


Catching swarms can help you get your apiary started or help you expand your apiary for free. It also provides the bees a great new home! So....win win!


Members are contacted in order depending on factors including timing, location, and whether or not the member has already captured a swarm during the year.
